Corollary / Compare / Notability
Corollary vs Notability.
Notability is a note-taking app known for audio recording synced to your writing. Corollary is an iPad app built for people who write mathematics: it turns Apple Pencil handwriting into real, editable LaTeX. Here is where each is better.
Which is better for math?
Choose Notability if you record lectures or meetings and want your notes to replay with the audio, plus AI summaries and quizzes. Choose Corollary if you write mathematics and want every line in editable LaTeX, a .tex file for Overleaf, and notes that Claude and ChatGPT can read and search.

Does Notability convert handwriting to LaTeX?
Partly. Notability's math conversion turns the equations you select into high-resolution images, and you can edit them by changing the underlying LaTeX. It doesn't export a .tex document. In Corollary every line is typeset automatically, and the whole page is one LaTeX document you can export or send to Overleaf.
